1920 THE UTAH IDAHO LIVE STOCK LOAN COMPANY - Incorporated in Utah - Issued to L. B. McCornick for 6 shares worth $100 each. This company had livestock operations at Salt Lake City, Utah and near Mackay, Idaho. F. K. Butler secretary and M. K. Parsons president. Price - $46.00
1917 UTAH WYOMING LIVESTOCK COMPANY - Incorporated in Utah - Stock #4. Issued to L. B. McCornick for 100 shares. Office at Salt Lake City, UT. Signed by John E. Austin as president - this name looks familiar. I believe I have seen this signature on some early mining stocks as well.

1929 UTAH ELECTRIC RADIO COMPANY - Incorporated in Utah - Issued to L. B. McCornick for 500 shares. Office at Salt Lake City. Utahs' first radio station (KZN) went on the air in May of 1922. This must have been one of the first companies to produce radios for the listening public. What great western broadcasting history! Price - $75.00
1916 THE INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION - Incorporated in Utah - Issued to L. B. McCornick for 1 share. Stock #10. Unfortunately, I could find no information about what this company did. Office at Salt Lake City. This certificate has a couple of small tears along the folds. Price - $25.00
GUARDIAN CASUALTY & GUARANTY COMPANY - VOTING TRUST CERTIFICATE - This was an insurance company located in the McCornick Building in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cert #5, issued to L. B. McCornick for 86 shares. The name F. J. Hagenbarth is in the fine print who also signed the certificate at the bottom as another trustee. Stamp at bottom reads McCornick & Co., Bankers. The company incorporated in May of 1909. My research indicates that W. S. McCornick was president. The fine print includes the dates 1916 & 1919. There is more history here than I can sort out in this small space. Price - $50.00
1922 POLICY MINING AND MILLING COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah - Stock certificate issued to Geo. R. Steele for 10,000 shares valued at one cent each. Gold-colored corporate seal clearly punched into lower-left corner. Signed by Jessie B. Russell as company secretary. Printed by the American Printery, Salt Lake City. Price - $39.00
1942 UTAH DRILLING AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah - Issued to Stanley B. Neff. Signed by Albert P. Kruse as company president. Price - $25.00

1926 SILVER SHIELD MINING AND MILLING COMPANY - Incorporated (in 1899) Under the Laws of Utah - Property in TINTIC MINING DISTRICT, UTAH AND OTHER MINING DISTRICTS (printed beneath title). According to my research the operation was in Bingham Canyon. Ore contained silver, lead and a small amount of gold. Harry S. Joseph, president. Office at Salt Lake City. Contains a unique shiny-silver shield as the corporate seal. Issued to C. E. Freund for 100 shares. Price - $55.00
1872 THE SILVER DREAM MINING COMPANY - Organized Under the Laws of the State of New York - Issued for the Purchase of Mining Property - LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, UTAH (printed in bottom border). Stock certificate #26, issued to Isaac W. French for 50 shares. Utah is also stamped into the bright-red corporate seal. Spectacular, detailed vignette.
UTAH TERRITORY
The Big and Little Cottonwood Mining Districts are in the Wasatch Mountain Range southeast of Salt Lake City. The Little Cottonwood District occupies the entire Little Cottonwood Creek drainage. The first ore in the area may have been discovered by Brigadier General Patrick Connor, commanding officer of the 3rd California Infantry. These were rich, oxidized lead/silver ores. SOLD
1905 HONERINE MINING AND MILLING COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah - Shares valued at $5 each. Shiny-silver corporate seal (which is much less common). Location of Mines, Stockton, Utah. Tooele County. Stock certificate issued to Chas. Read. Ore contained mainly silver and lead, with smaller amounts of copper and gold. Signed by assistant secretary, Chas. O. Ellingwood. Secretary C. M. Dupont signed the reverse. Price - $60.00
1887 STORMONT MINING COMPANY OF UTAH - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah - Stock certificate issued to E. Belknap for 288 shares. HARRISBURG DISTRICT, WASHINGTON COUNTY, UTAH (printed at bottom border). This is from the mining boomtown of Silver Reef - Now a ghost town. Claims included the Thompson, McNally, Stormont, Savage, Buckeye and Last Chance. Silver was discovered in sandstone formations, a geologic rarity. Unique vignette shows cherubs playing on silver dollars. Signed by Charles S. Hinchman as company president. Main office at Salt Lake City, Utah. Price - $185
1875 CALIFORNIA BOY MINING COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Ohio, July 11th, 1875 - Certificate #91, issued to Jno. W. Faringer for 10 shares worth $50 each. According to my research, the California Boy Mine was located in the Ophir Mining District of Tooele County - UTAH TERRITORY. Silver / lead mine. Signed by Jno. L. Hite as secretary and John S. Prasee, president. Office at Lancaster, Ohio.

1894 LUCKY BILL MINING COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah Territory, March 30th, 1888 - Snake Creek Mining District, Wasatch County, Utah. Stock certificate issued to George J. Fox for 180 shares worth $2.50 each. Here is an excerpt I found about the company: "The Lucky Bill group of four claims consisting of the Safeguard, Lucky Bill, Home Station and Clift, lie partly in Uintah and partly in Snake Creek districts."
