1902 THE ECHO COPPER MINING AND MILLING COMPANY
Organized December 21st, 1902 Under the Laws of the State of Wyoming.
RARE and spectacular stock certificate. I have only seen a few of these over the years.
The main office for the Echo Copper Company was at Chicago, Illinois but also had a mine office at Rudefeha, Carbon County, Wyoming. The company had 4 claims on 80 acres, adjoining the Ferris-Haggarty Mine. Signed by W. R. Stiles as secretary.
Text below the elaborate engraving reads: ENTERED ACCORDING TO ACT OF CONGRESS DECEMBER 1902 BY JOHN C. W. RHODE. The certificate is signed by John C. W. Rhode as company president.
The certificate is large and the right a left borders did not fit entirely on my scanner - it is complete.
This would certainly be a highlight of any scripophily collection! SOLD

1902 BLANCHE COPPER MINING COMPANY - Incorporated (in 1902) Under the Laws of the State of Wyoming - My research for this company turned up two different locations and I'm not sure which is correct - possibly owned mining properties in both counties? :

(2) Battle, Wyoming in Carbon County. Named as a result of a battle fought between 500 Sioux, Arapaho and Cheyenne and 23 Rocky Mountain Fur Company trappers. Grand Encampment Mining District.

1890s THE DIAMOND COAL AND COKE COMPANY - Incorporated Under the Laws of Utah - MINES LOCATED AT DIAMONDVILLE, WYOMING (printed at top). Picture shows a coal car from a train. The company also opened mines at Glencoe in 1898 and at Oakley in 1899. In 1898, famous mining man, Marcus Daly took control of the company. The Diamondville coal seam covered about one square mile and was 11 feet thick. Office at Salt Lake City, Utah. (Unissued) Price - $60.00
