1910
THE VANGUARD GOLD COPPER MINING COMPANY - Incorporated (in 1910) Under
the Laws of the State of Oregon - Grants Pass, Oregon printed beneath
the title. Very early stock # 10 issued to M. W. Robbins
for 10,000 shares worth $1 each. Quite an investment in 1910! My
research indicates that the mine office was located in Josephine County
at the town of Kerby, Oregon. H. L. Andrews, president and C. E. Phillips, secretary. The company worked land 7 miles west of Kerby. Price - $49.00 SOLD

1900 SUNRISE MINING COMPANY - Incorporated Sept. 22nd, 1900 Under the Laws of the State of Oregon - Certificate #4. COTTAGE GROVE, OREGON
printed beneath the title. Although unissued, the corporate seal was
punched into the lower-left, and it was signed by the secretary. I
enlarged the scan to confirm that it was signed by an old fountain pen. Price - $60.00
1903 LITTLE BASIN MINING COMPANY - Incorporated (June 20th, 1903) Under the Laws of the State of Oregon. Stock# 30 issued to E.J. Hyland
shortly after the company was formed. Old Oregon stocks are tough
to find... so I was quite pleased when this one turned up. The vignette
is very detailed - showing an early mining camp below a snow-covered
mountain peak. People can be seen riding horses in the foreground.
Signed by G. Morton as secretary and F. A. Jones
as president. Office at Portland, Oregon. The corporate seal is very
distinct and much more shiny than appears in the scan. Price -
$89.00 SOLD
